I think I have one on my hands!  Could be someone looking for help, could be a nut.

The ones asking for money or someone to "sponsor" them are the whack jobs (or scam artists!)

whack jobs, as in people who are predators. They see a forum made up of nurses and start playing mind games. Present themselves as victims of the health care system and in need of help. Then, no matter how their situation is approached, no matter what solutions are presented, the answer is ALWAYS just out of reach. People can be very manipulative, especially those who have been in the system a long time and know what you are going to say before the words form in your brain.

I think I must be to naive to know what you are talking about. Who is the whack job? Should I be scared? LOL

When I hear the term whack job I think psych/nut. When I hear someone speaking of someone being able to read minds I think psych/nut

I still think its those folk who come on here with pain med questions.  There have been a couple around lately.

Why a nurse would broadcast to the healthcare community in the whole country that she is against Israel  It baffles me.  What will that look like to future employers?  I would rather talk about pain med seekers, I guess.

There are some whacky folks on here for sure!  That one who is against Israel may have started that forum for shock value.....she has done things like this before by posting very graphic pictures in a forum a little while back (she recently changed her profile name....used to be Haneen).  Despite all that.....I feel bad for anyone who has had to deal with loss and maybe for her the loss of fellow palestinians is just too much......and maybe for the pain med seekers....the loss of a healthy life is just too much and these things put them over the edge of what most would consider normal.

If you think someone's too whacky for you.....ignore them.....why let it bother you?  That usually works right?
