Hello all, I am currently in a Community College in NYC. I have been searching for an LPN ro RN school for the longest! and I found a few but my question to you all, is going to those schools worth it??? I found a school thats offers LPN and the RN Program. The LPN course is $15,000 for 12 months and the RN course is $25,000 for 2 yrs. Thats not including Books, Uniforms, Mal. Practice Ins. ETC. you might need. the web site is called HEC-EDU.US i would like for everyone to check it out and give me some feed back on this school because i can't seem to find any ratings on this school. There is another school I found the Web site is www.cannj.com located in NJ the cost of the program is about $20,000.00 and the program length is about 11 months. and yet again i can't find any reviews about this school. i just don't want to make a wrong choice and i have no one to talk to about what school is good or not. I prefer to do LPN first then RN cause my goal in the long run is to become an RN, but i wanted to do LPN first so that i can have hands on experience then continue for RN and earn on the side. I already work for an institute that hires RN & LPN's they just told me go to school during your non working hrs all i need is to complete the course hopefully earn my license in NURSING and i just get a pay upgrade. nevertheless, i just dont want to make a wrong decision in choosing a school to persue my career in nursing.
