Posted over 4 years ago I am from the caribben but i reside here now. I am qualify in business and accounting but I am considering nursing. How do i get into a college here ? I would prefer one closest to me... i live in south elgin, IL and ECC is near by for me really. What are the proceedures and qualifications bacause i really donot know a thing about nursing but trust me iam a real fast learner, a mom and alway love taking care of people. I know i can do this geniuely and profesionally.

| Posted over 4 years ago Well the best way is to go to your local community college and get an appointment with an academic advisor. You will have to take all the prerequisites for the nursing program first, most likely. Then if your grades are high enough you will be admitted to the nursing program. Thats a simple explanation but your advisor can give you all the local details |
