I am takingmy son on the 15th of this month to be tested to see if he is a good candidate for the cochlear implant.

I am excited and yet fearful....

Do any of you work for an ENT or specialist that have seen this surgery performed ?

Or have any of you encountered patients with the cochlear?

I have seen several news storeis lately here about the surgery and am excited about this technology.

My son has received mixed emotions from the deaf friends about him getting the cochlear...

I just pray that it is the right decision for him...He is 14 and ultimately this will be his decision...
