I won't go back and forth with who did what, blame goes back and forth all the time between Republicans and Democrats. It's constant. "well, the Republican's did this, or the democrats did that" I'm sick of it. They are ALL bad in my eyes and it does not do us AMERICANS any service by being divided. In fact I believe that's what they want. If Americans group themselves in these parties and bicker about who's better or worse, they will never get past the party lines to see that most of the politicians (from both parties) are more focused on getting their big fat paychecks from the corporate lobbyists than doing any real good for the American people. Keeping us divided is safe for them. It keeps us all blind and biased.

You focused all of your attention on one sentence in my entire post. Did you even read the rest? It was pretty non-partisan and was speaking more highly of Ron Paul (a true Republican conservative) than anything else.

I never said Clinton was perfect...but facts are facts. Bush was a BIG spender. Anybody that claims to be "conservative" and is supportive of president Bush must not really know what "conservative" means. I am neither Republican or Democrat. But by the TRUE definition of a conservative--I am one. However I don't claim to be one because the term has taken on a whole new definition. It no longer means fiscal responsibility and low spending, although many of the republicans/"conservatives" that like to title themselves that way will go on and on about low spending/fiscal responsibility that prove time and time again that those are merely talking points to appease their Republican base. Meanwhile they go about their days spending and doing many corrupt things in office for the benefit of corporations, not the people who voted for them. And the people who voted for them go about their days blindly supporting these people who duped them into believing that they would do as they say. I can say the same is true for the Democrats. Obama is no better than any politician out there. I voted for him, but that won't keep me from critisizing him for things I disagree with. It's too bad more people can't get past this partisan crap and start looking at ALL of the politicians who lead our country and make all of our rules with non-partisan, open eyes rather than getting hung up on defending somebody just because they are affiliated with one party or another or because they voted for the person.

Got to agree with you on this one. There are some grassroot orginizations in some states where people are going to protest on 4/15/09 . They are not allowing any politicians to do speeches. These are hard working taxpayers who are protesting all the spending. They side with neither party and pretty much feel that the government in general are to blame for this mess, and they are right. Power to the people! Tea parties are being held in several different states. I wonder if the news will report this?

I guess we'll have to see. I think we are going down a slippery slope in this country, and we're giving the government too much power. I heard that now Big Brother wants to determine salaries for GM since they were helpful in bailing them out.

Are we headed towards an Orwelian society? The best part, is Europe is advising America not to go down the socialist path they have been on. They are now seeing what a big mistake that was.
