How do temp agencies work?

Posted over 4 years ago Since I have to get my CNA cert as a prereq for RN school, I thought I could at least make some money working as one on occasion. If I sign up at a temp agency, will it allow me to turn down jobs if I am already committed for the day they need me to work? Does it work that way? I guess I would be called a casual part-timer? I wonder if that is just a fanstasy world... |

| Posted about 4 years ago I've worked for a temp agency doing BOTH, Home Care and CNA work. They usually place you on an assignment or at a facility according to your availability. For the most part, they will work with you. I hope this helps. Ms. Home Health Aide~ |
