I would like to know if there is any legislation pending with regards to the current nurse to patient staffing ratios? In long term care facilities the norm is 40-1 in my area. Those of us who endeavor to provide safe care without cutting corners are drowning! Please respond with any possible course of action that will help me to keep my job and provide the care I would want for myself and or someone I love!!!! thanks in advance.
