I was saddened to hear that Billy Powell, the keyboardist and original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd expired recently.  There is only one original member left, lead guitarist Gary Rossington.  I heard on a documentary one time that because of conflict between the widow/s of other late members, Skynyrd could only continue to play under the name if at least 2 original members were still actively playing.  I hope this isn't the end.  When I heard he died, I felt very similar to how I felt when John Lennon died, though he was murdered.  I "came of age" back in the day when they exploded on to the music scene, and I have been a huge fan ever since.  Billy Powell, may you RIP.
