Hey you all....For the purpose of saving face, I will give you my nickname: ButtaFli.  I starting this new topic thread to let you all know that I have decided to start a blog dedicated to my trials and tribulations (and joys) in my nursing career.  I started the blog in the beginning of January this year and I just felt like getting some "stuff" off of my chest.  Here is a brief overview of what is going on:

- I grauated with a BSN in the spring of '05 from Florida A&M University. I have worked my entire career in Pediatrics.

- After giving birth to my first son in late 2007, I moved back home to Miami, Florida because my support system was there.

- I decided to return back to work in April of '08.  I still have not been able to find a job.  This economy has affected the nursing profession as well. 

I have used this blog to vent and reord my true feelings on what is currently happening with my career.  I hope that this blog can be of help to students and even brand new nurses.  I plan on contributing to this blog as long as I can.  I hope you all visit the site and follow the blog.  The site is Blogger.com and the name of my blog is called Nursing Chornicles: Fighting until Finished.  I hope that those of you who who choose  to follow the blog enjoy it.  I also hope that you all can learn something valuable from my experiences as well.
