Posted over 4 years ago Hi, everyone and thanks for welcoming me to nursing link. I thought i'd share a little about myself. I graduated from nursing school in dec. of 2006. I took my first nclex test in feb. of 2007. and faied. I am almost embarrassed to say that i have since taken the test 3 more times for a total of four times and have failed each time. I don't know what to do anymore, i feel like i've failed myself and my husband. I feel liked i dedicated so much time to getting my nursing degree and don't understand why i can't pass the nclex exam. To be a nurse is all i've ever wanted to be, even now after all of these failures, i'm still optimistic and i am going to retake the exam, but i don't know what to do different in my studying, or maybe i'm just psyching myself out that i failed the first time, and is what caused me to fail the several other times. To be honest, i just need some help, different studying techniques. I want to schedule my test for no later than march, but i so desparately want to see the word PASS. I would appreciate any help, tips, words of encouragement , ANYTHING, at this point. Thanks to all for taking the time and reading, really helps to get these feelings off my shoulders. |

| Posted over 4 years ago Have you looked into the Kaplan classes...they are pretty pricy, but I heard they helped.. "Dreams come true; without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them." - John Updike |
