Posted over 4 years ago I am looking into going into nursing myself, But have decided to do LPN. I do realize how hard Rn school is, but what is the difference. Is LPN schooling just as hard and intense. I do plan on later taking my RN classes, doing it this way is a better option for me. Two nights a week for two years. , I work 40 hours weeks, in which I need to do, and I want to really be able to devote time to study and do my homework. I have plenty of cousins who are RNs who said when I am ready to go back for my RN studies they will be able to help me through it. |

| Posted over 4 years ago Nurses I have spoken to say both - go directly to the RN program and do the LVN/LPN program first. Dependign on where you live and what the wait is like, I would suggest doing whatever is going to get you nursing sooner. GL! Oh, and I think the answer to your question really depends on what kind of learner/student you are. |
