Being pagan, I have encountered discrimination for my faith. Even fear. And all because of lies being forced down non-pagans mouths. Why can't we get along without condeming us? I am a very spiritual person and give back to the community as much as I can.

Some religions brainwash people into believing that THEIR faith is superior to other faiths.

I AGREE THAT NO ONE SHOULD BE PRACTICING RELIGION IN THE WORKPLACE BUT WE SHOULD ALL BE PRACTICING SPIRITUALITY IN THE WORKPLACE. THESE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. I AM NOT A CHRISITIAN BUT IF A PATIENT ASKS ME TO PRAY WITH THEM I DO. I BELIEVE THAT THE VERY BASICS OF WHAT ALL RELIGIONS ARE BASED UPON ARE WHAT EVERY PERSON, NO MATTER WHAT THEIR RELIGION, NEEDS TO FOCUS ON. AS A BUDHIST AND A NURSE I CAN EASILY PRACTICE MY SPIRITUALITY ALL DAY LONG. I CANNOT, HOWEVER, STOP TO PRACTICE MY RELIGION. I CAN PRACTICE COMPASSION, EASE SUFFERING AND USE LOTS AND LOTS OF EQUANIMITY WHICH, IN TURN, STRENGTHENS MY SPIRITUAL TIES TO MY RELIGION. ANYTIME YOU CAN HELP OTHERS, INCLUDING YOUR COWORKERS, TO EASE THEIR SUFFERING, YOU ARE PRACTICING SPIRITUALITY.
