Interesting information was compiled on what states are actually losing Nurses and what states are gaining Nurses. Topping the list of desirable locations is Florida and California.
Where are they from and where do they want to go?
Key Findings:
Many of the top states where nursing job seekers are willing to relocate “from” or “to” are consistent with the top locations to find potential nursing candidates. Virginia and North Carolina suggest opportunities for recruiting nursing candidates who are willing to relocate. Job seekers in Virginia and North Carolina are willing to relocate to various U.S. locations with a primary focus in areas such as California, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania and the Carolinas. There are a few retirement and destination locations where potential nursing candidates are willing to relocate to like Arizona, Colorado and South Carolina.
