do you guys like nursinglink or allnurses.com better?

I prefer allnurses because they have forums that are broken down by state (besides the many other forums) but I feel you get better info that way.

what do you think?

both are cool, nursinglink makes it funner to go on because of the point system, allnurse has more info.

I have been to both sites and like nursing link better. Allnurses.com has alot of good forums and you can get alot of good info, but on nursing link it's  easier to make friends and network.

So true!!!!! I feel genuine affection for the friends I have made here. Not the same on allnurses - they are wonderful people, don't get me wrong, but I don't feel like I know them personally. I would never go back to allnurses.

 I think NL rocks!

Didn't know about allnurses.com but will have to check it out (in my spare time of course, LOL.)

Each site both has its pros and cons.

NL is more personal and less formal. And like someone else mentioned, peeple know who you are on NL. With that being said, I think that there are more politics on NL than on allnurses. Some of the discussions on NL have gotten way out of hand in the past. Allnurses has a lot more moderators that have their finger on the pulse (no pun intended) on a lot of the forums so that if things get out of hand, they are faster to remind posters of the TOS rules and to close or mark a forum as sitcky if necessary. On NL that does not happen as often. Additionally, allnurses has more moderated forums which means that your post is not put up on the forum until a moderator even reads it to ensure the quality of the content. I think it is wise in this case to be proactive.

Allnurses.com  DOSEN'T seem as friendly or are willing to help the fellow students. I see a lot of people expressing thier bitterness at each other. I'll still search thier websites once in a while, but this is the one for me.

I absolutlylove this forum and the people on here have been so nice and helpful.

I also love the profile that you can create and the types of applications you can put on it.  -AWESOME!!!

I joined allnurses first, but found it hard to get on and not very easy to navigate. This site is way more user friendly, and more laid back. Allnurses seems more "business like" and serious. Sorry, but I deal with uptight stuff enough in nursing...I like to go where I'm free to express myself . Seems more personable on here. Guess I made my choice.

Well, I like the design of it, it's very nice and easy to use.

I prefer Nursing Link to AllNurses.  I have posted on both and I can tell you the replies I received on AllNurses were prett lame compared to the informaiton I recieve here. 

I also think the format on this site is easier to use and the information on this site seems more up to date and cleaner in the sense that it is easier to navigate.
