i have been a nurse for 1 year now-with my BSN. Moved to WA state and at that time i did not have a job offer yet. i had a baby and had to stay out of hospitals -though did some interviews -to take care of my baby.The problem is i have not had any luck in getting to a hospital here easily. i now work with a home health agency. Am getting worried because i have tried travelling agencies and they are asking for 1 year hospital experience. i passed my NCLEX! Was in an accredited school , not in WA. i just wonder what is going on. advice please !!!!!!!!

How long passed between your boards and your first job as a nurse? A long hiatus after graduating can be a turnoff to employers.
