I am returning back to school this summer to start working towards my RN...needless to say I just finished school for my LPN in August and just started working in January, actually I am still somewhat overwhelmed from that hectic year, so I am needing to find out how would I maintain some income while handling the chaos of school and then clinical time.,  I am thinking hospice might be the way to go rather than working the nursing home please give some advice............

Actually, I think working in a long-term facility might be better for you. Hospice is good but dealing with that type of style so early into your career might be overwhelming.

I agree on hospice...you could even study while you are with your patient.  Great to get your RN.  I am soooo proud of you!

Go for Hospice but make sure thast you know what you are getting into. LTC is far too hard for hours and work while in school.
