Posted over 4 years ago I to believe that LPN'S are not given the credit they deserve. They are trying to be replaced by Med Techs for lower pay yet the LPN's have to pick up the slack for them. I think LPN'S deserve a lot more recognition than what they have been getting in the past years. C'mon LPN'S we are as strong as our weakest link. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I am a med tech.....by NO means are we getting paid what you are...and you do NOT have to do what we do.....for 8.71 an hour, I fill linens, fill all the drawers in the room (test tubes, bed pans, 4x4's, urinals,etc). I can NOT do much of anything you can. I cannot give meds or try to diagnose a patient. Where do you work? Are you getting paid the same as a med tech there? Weird? LPN's are great. I would love to be one! Med tech work sucks. The most fun I have is putting in Caths and taking EKG's and drawing. A good man loves other. A better man loves God. A great man loves God and lives well among others! I miss you daddy!
