Can a certified medical assistant become an rn, i am trying to decide if i want to become a rn now or a cma. due to the long waiting list for nursing, i was thinking i should become a cma. are they the same as an lpn? can i taking nursing classes later on? they community college near me has a 4 yr or more waiting list. and the bigger universities are too far for me right now, due to lack of real transportation. thanks in advance
