Mine was when I turned 30! I had left my abusive husband and was going to Nursing school. I felt like I was getting my life on track again and doing something I had always wanted to do. But I also liked turning 50-beause that's when you don't give a damn. I like that attitude!

18 because I was on my own. 22 because I left an abusive husband. 40 because I went to LPN school 50 because I at last had a college degree. 57 because I can say whatever the Hell I want and get by with it.

My favorite age is now!! I don't have to explain my behavior, which is 'going through my 2nd childhood", to anyone. They chalk it up to being a 'crazy ol' lady'. Tis fun. But I do try to set a good example to the younger nurses who try to be good. I want them to think old age is great ! (because it is.)

I was 28 when I left my drug addicted husband but my favorite age is when I turned 30 because I had finally gained confidence in myself and I was living better with my children. I knew I was on my way up and now I’ve decided to go to nursing school

When I was 26. I had my first child, a daughter. She is my pride and joy. I don't know what I would do without. That's why I know I have to go back to college and make my way in nursing. I have to show her if mommy can make it with everything that is holding me back, she can too.

If you weren't doing nursing, what else would you be doing?

My favorite age was 30 thats when i had my last child. But I would have to say now it would be when I turned 47 the boys are grown now, and on there own, and now I can enjoy my life. Do things that I havent done in a long time, things that I had put of for along time, and just enjoy being myself, enoy life, no strees, and be happy for me.

May favorite was 25. I believe that is when I first came into my "own". At 59, I am at the age where it is my opinion that counts. The opinions of others are important but I don't have to be defined by them. Nanacarolynn

I am currently 35 and have just started nursing school. I would have to say that 35 is my favorite age. I have found my independence and figured out what I want to be when I grow up. I feel that I have more patience with my children and with others and I have a better understanding of how people feel about different things and why. I have much more empathy now.

I wish that getting older was aging like fine wine...until I relaize that my favorite age was 30 because my butt was still tight and I was in love.

THat is definetly a good reason to love that age NevadaRN. I suppose I would have enjoyed thirty as well, but I was hugely preganant at the time, so I didn't feel my butt was tight, I just felt like all of my clothes were!

My favorite age would have to have been 21. I was blessed to cheer for the University of Arkansas.
We got to travel all over. Free! I got to see New York, Atlanta, Charlotte,NC, etc. It was so fun!

Definitely lots to be said for 40+.....finished nursing school at 40, and before that, it seemed like with each year that went by (over the last 15 or so). I always said "this year has to be better than last year was".....I didn't say that this year because now I am doing a job that I love!

I’d say now – ever since I left my husband & found my true self again, life is good & meaningful! I am about to switch careers – leaving the desk job behind & returning to nursing & helping people: following my true calling! The lessons learned thus far equipped me to be who I am now & I continue to learn who I supposed to be become.

Early 20's. I was old enough to know better and too young to care. Now is good too (60). On my own for the past 6 years. Very peaceful, very quiet. Just can't decide what I want to be when I grow up.

I can't really choose an age that was my favorite. I've enjoyed every milestone in my life. I could start when I was a young boy (I'm 59 now) and tell you why that age was great and continue till the present. Granted, you can allways look back and enjoy the memories, but remember that memories are made every second you live.

I would have to say that right now at 41 I finally haverealized what I want to do and that is to  go to school and become an LPN . I have always had a great satisfaction in helping others. It just took me til now to really see the career that I would truly enjoy.

This is my favorite age (currently 47).  I have much to reflect on - fond memories as well as hard lessons learned - & much to look forward to - hopefully applying all that I've learned appropriately.  I have stepchildren & grandchildren, birth children, & a husband who loves me to share it all with. (note:  We don't always like each other but we do always love each other.)  I am fortunate to still have both my parents & a wonderful mom-in-law, all still in relatively good health.  I have an excellent Church family &, most importantly, Jesus Christ.  I don't have a lot of posessions but I don't need to because I'm rich with loved ones.  With all this, every age is good.

35 -45 was my favorite age. I was just getting out on my own, moving to the big city of Chicago and making up for some lost years  (I'd been ill and living at home until I was 30). Went to nursing school at 30 and when I graduated in 81, moved to Chicago, I took 'the world by storm!!'
