You're going to think I'm nuts, but T.E.D. hose are the best! Yes, I'm talking about those dang annoying hose you put on your pt.'s that you would do anything to avoid. But they work!

I wear support stockings.......theraputic ones. Not sure the company name, I'll have to check with my mom who ordered them for me after my DVT. I wear the "knee high" ones a lot. The "panyhose" type are just so damn tight and I can't breath in them all day!

Don't wear support stockings, but I do wear diabetic socks (even though I do not have diabetes). I like the diabetic socks because I have very sensitive feet and these don't have any seams by the toes. They're also made from a softer type of cotton. The brand is called Medi Peds. They're actually not so expensive and you can get them at Wal Mart.

Hi, I just came across this topic and figured I would give my opinion.

I work 12 hour shifts and have a pretty severe circulation problem in one of my legs. I have pretty much tried all of the therapeutic support pantyhose, looking for a way to ease the swelling and cramping, and really like the TheraFirm Light Comperssion 10-15 mmHg Pantyhose. They really fit nicely and are very comfortable. They are durable and reasonably priced. You can get them for under $20.00 when they are on sale.

My legs feel great when I am at work and even better on my days off since I started wearing these hose.

" I actually do prefer to wear my spouse's socks,( clean,of course). They are very warm in the wintry months, great insulation

and not too constricting.Anklets are great when the humidity is up; there is nothing more uncomfortable that socks that are,

" too warm when the heat is on",especially when working with the elderly, who cannot tolerate air-conditioning and are,

"wrapped in afghans in the heatwave".It's best to dress appropriately,as per one's personal preferences for comfort."
