Posted about 4 years ago I graduated last year of april, passed the licensure exam in july and got my license in november. Still I have no job. It's really hard to look for a work here and even so the salary for nurses are definitely not enough. And not only that, if you wanted to have an experience, you have to pay the hospital instead of them paying you. What a system right? With your time, effort and your license at stake, still, you're the one who's paying them. That is why most of us wanted to go abroad for work and of course to have a better future for our family. But most countries will not only require so many examinations like IELTS, CGFNS, NCLEX but also hospital experiences, which in my case now, is impossible. How can I acquire an experience when all of the employers will not let me have one? Now, almost all of my batchmates are working but not in hospitals or clinics. Instead they are working in call centers, fast food chains or whatsoever that's not related to the course they studied in college, which is Nursing. So, I am torn by the fact that i needed money (in addition is the global crisis) and it seems that the only option i got is to go back to being a customer representative. Answering calls from people from other countries (which most of the time are irate). Now I am really confused? And it seems that i am forgetting all that I learned from the Nursing school? What will i do? |
