Posted over 5 years ago Young At Heart: Slightly Older In Other Places. I saw this on a T-shirt. I love it. What makes you young at heart? What child-like things do you love? I still like to watch cartoons. I like flying kites and blowing bubbles. |

| Posted over 5 years ago I like playing kickball and baseball with my son. It is even more fun when we get alot of family involved for a matchup game. Plus my son (6) loves it.

| Posted over 5 years ago Stupid magic tricks. I can't help it I love them. They make me laugh when I get fooled as to how they are done. |

| Posted over 5 years ago Just being outside keeps me young at heart, especially at the beach watching little ones build sand castles and jumping in the waves. I also like playing in the rain with our two youngest boys, now 16 & 14. We had a blast and before we knew it we weren't alone the neighbors were out with their children too. Being around young people keeps me young too. I'm in my first semester of nursing school, doing clinicals being with kids who could be my children...it certainly brings out more my nurturing instincts that's for sure. |

| Posted over 5 years ago I loved Heckel and Jeckel. My brother was a Daffy Duck fan. I was going to get him a Daffy Duck shower curtain for his new aprtment and my sisters talked me out of it. They thought it was silly for a 52-year-old man to have a Daffy Duck shower curtain. Wish I had done it now. Stay young while you can. |

| Posted over 5 years ago I love to ride my bike and let the wind blow my hair. I love it as much as I did as a kid. I also like to take nature hikes, especially if it involves climbing a mountain. I did that a lot as a kid. I still like to go outside and check out different kinds of bugs and plants, trees, leaves, rocks, etc. And I still love to knit, sew, draw and write, all things I spent hours at as a child. Doing dishes is about the only thing I recall of my childhood that I can't stomach as an adult. I think I did enough dishes as a child to last a lifetime. That's my stand and I'm sticking to it! Just as Psalm 139 said, going to nursing school with people young enough to be my children really kept me young then. I had a blast and was astonished how well I fit in. I would go to the freshman floor and sit aroung hootin' and hollerin' till I got tired about 11:00, and I'd go to bed only to find out the freshmen stayed up all night laughing and gigling. Well there's the age difference. |
