Posted about 4 years ago Hey everyone-- My name is Stephanie --i am a mother of five-I currently am a school counselor at a k-12 school. I have always wanted to be a nurse. Do any of you know of any accelerated schools or just a good nursing school. Thanks for any help! |

| Posted about 4 years ago There are no accelerated programs, that I know of, for a non-nurse to become an RN (only for LPN to RN). Most hospitals with nursing programs are good. Depending on where you live, there are a lot of good schools for nursing...you need to investigate in your area and ask current nursing students or nurses who have graduated from where you are thinking of attending. An online course might be a good option for you since it sounds like you work full time, and you can go at your own pace for the most part. Good luck! | Posted about 4 years ago There are actually accelerated BSN programs out there for folks who hold a non-nursing bachelor's degree. You might just do a google for "accelerated BSN" and see what you get. |
