I am considering becoming a travel nurse but am hesitant to start in this shacky economy and also am wondering if I need to become more experienced in one specific field before I venture out.  I am a sole supporter so this would be a big step for me.  I have a variety of experience in different areas of nursing, but am a relatively new nurse of two years.  Looking for advice.

Also, looking for references for travel nursing companies to explore.
