help! 3 of the exact same questions on nclex!?!

Posted about 4 years ago Hello! I just took my boards today 4-10-09 and I had ton of select all that apply no med calculations and 3 of the exact same question with the answers in different spots it was a hyperthyroidism check all that apply question which I was pretty confident I got right but why did they give me it 3 times? Some of the questions were easy and started freaking me out..the computer shut off at 85 questions, what do you think? |

| Posted about 4 years ago We were also told about that during our NCLEX review. According to them, questions are not repeated, by closely looking at it, the idea is different from the other. Only it becomes similar at first glance, due to some reasons. Time is a great factor, when the test taker is too much focused on the time, his ability to comprehend the question better, suffers in a way. Or maybe overlooking some words that are essential in the determination of the answer. Best wishes to you!

| Posted about 4 years ago I'm sure that you passed if your test shut off at 85. I took my boards 3-26-09 and I was freaking out too because my test shut off at 85 and I had to wait the entire weekend to find out if I passed. I wish you the best of luck. |

| Posted about 4 years ago You have hopefully found out whether you passed or not by now. I hope the news was good!! The NCLEX re-tests areas of weakness to determine safety in that area. leng is right that the question would have been reworded and asked from a different angle. Have you reviewed the hypothyroid content to see if you understand it? Obviously, if you passed this is the farthest thing from your mind and you should celebrate your success!!! |

| Posted about 4 years ago Yes I did pass!! I found out easter day! It was the best easter present ever!! I took the boards in pittsburg near monroeville. And I was very confident on my hyper hypothyroidism content due to our teachers drilling it into us haha..so that is why I was so concerned because they were not reworded believe me..the answers were only in different spots thank God I passed though!! Now its finding a job that's the new challenge! |
