Posted 7 months ago Ok, if today were your day off from work, what would you do, or how would you spend it?
If it were my day off, I would most likely be doing homework, but if I decided to be a rebel, I would probably spend the entire day outside if it were nice out, or if it weren't, I would probably be going to get a mani/pedi or at the local coffee house.. |

| Posted 7 months ago I agree; it's quite relaxing, and I would do the pedi, but the mani only lasts 3 days with all of the handwashing and glove wearing! On my day off I need to finish my spring cleaning, but I would LIKE to go for a nice long walk, weather permitting:) |

| Posted 7 months ago It was supposed to be my day off today, but I had to fill in for a co-worker for 5 hours. If today was my day off, ot half day off, I would have been just sitting infront of my computer, shopping online, and posting on forums. |

| Posted 7 months ago Today is my day off. I work 3rd shift so I will fight the temptation to climb in the bed which is a waist of a day off, and I will enjoy one of the first nice days we have had in Michigan. Maybe take my three year old to the park, or for icecream |

| Posted 7 months ago I've never had a mani/pedi, but I heard it's nice. On my day off I will be gardening. We have already planted most of our veggies (still too chilly and rainy for the tomatoes), but there is alot of weeding to be done! |

| Posted 4 months ago Like many other nurses, work at my "other" job-that of housewife, mother and wife. Catch up on housecleaning, run errands, go to church and such. Do we ever really get a "day off?" |

| Posted about 1 month ago It's my day off today. I did the laundry, got some groceries, clean the bathroom, salvage my plants from drying up because of the wind gusts, prepare dinner, and tv, internet, and bonding with my hubby, and etc. |

| Posted about 1 month ago I'm off, I'm on vacation! WaLa!!! Nothing to do...bored? Miss my colleagues and the residents but I will enjoy every moment of the hours and the days when I can just close my eyes and relax. |

| Posted about 1 month ago Duh! My day off but we had a Meeting, get some groceries, do some shopping, forum/facebook/friendster hopping, do some abs crunches on my total gym, vaccum floor, and what else does a wife do, while the husband is holding the remote or the mouse? Waaaaahhh! |

| Posted about 1 month ago Kick some field goals with my kids. Play my Guitar. Go ice skating or play pick up hockey at the arena. Walk out with the dogs on the prarie. Post on a few forums here. Do some dishes and laundry. Do some homework. Lay down and sleep an extra hour or two. Work in my woodshop. Have s-x with my wife. Have more s-x with my wife. Sit and wish I could have more s-x. Maybe take a Jog or a long bike ride. Ya know! Cheers - Tim, R.N. |

Then if I'm lucky I will have time to go to the gym and hit the pool before it's time to get dinner started.
