Well, as my profile states, I am Amanda, I am 25 and a college student.  I applied for nursing school for the Fall of 2009.  I do not understand why it took me so long to decide on nursing even though I have always been interested in medicine..I think it was because my family kinda pushed me into other areas of study before I had enough and went with what I loved!

I enjoy being outside, dancing, writing, and learning new things..I can't explain it, and It probably makes me the biggest dork ever, but I get excited right before a semester of new classes starts. I get excited at the thought of being a nurse and being able to help people.  I love medical equipment! During my CNA clinicals a while back, I learned to do ECG's and I find them fascinating..
