I am researching my career field as part of required assignments for one of my classes and I would greatly appreciate if someone who is a highly experience Registered Nurse or Nurse Anesthetist (as this is my ultimate goal) could answer the following questions for me:
What current trends do you think are the most important in the industry? Where can I learn more about these trends? 2. To remain well informed about the industry: a. What publications (books, periodicals, and so on) do you recommend? b. What web sites do you recommend? c. What professional or trade associations do you recommend? 3. What skills, education, and experience are necessary for my job target? 4. What new terminology or industry buzzwords do you suggest I know to be well prepared? 5. How did you succeed in the field? Would you recommend the same or a similar approach for me? 6. What other suggestions can you give me to improve my employability in the field (further education, training, research, reading, and so on)? |
