Just curious! In New South Wales (Australia) in an effort to increase nursing numbers we have a Re-Connect Program, funded by the state, to attract registered nurses not currently working within the nursing field, to come back to work within a public hospital. It's a 3 month program where the RN is paid to refresh their skills. Once they meet the requirements of the program they are allowed to work again as a RN. Does the US and any other country have similar programs?
