Posted about 4 years ago Has anyone out there had any experience with Zoloft and weight gain as a side effect? A good man loves other. A better man loves God. A great man loves God and lives well among others! I miss you daddy!

| Posted about 3 years ago No, but I think all antidepressants have weight gain as a side effect for atleast some people. I think it is partly because what patients take it for sometimes causes weight loss. When they start to improve, they can rapidly gain weight. I gained more than 20 pounds from antidepressants. |

| Posted about 3 years ago Zoloft causes weight gain and patients need to be educated to select their foods carefully and exersize. Exercizing not only will help with the weight gain, but will help with thier depression as well. Education is an important tool in our Nursing Hand Bag. |
