Posted over 5 years ago I am very intrested in becoming a Labor and Delivery Nurse.. I just don't know where to start. What classes i need to be taking what type of degree i need to get... When i do research online i get confused... Can someone please help me understand what i need to do and what type of nurse classes i need to take. Thank you for your time and help |

| Posted over 5 years ago I would first start out by checking to see if your local junior college has a program that you can get into. You can look online at most college webpages and they willl send you information about their program or you can even look up the information prereqs and classes required to become a nurse. | Posted over 5 years ago You only choose/work in your field of choice when you do an externship, or internship and then when you graduate. You don't tale any specific courses before hand, but will get some during your nursing school time. You'll get an OB rotation during your schooling and the courses that go with it. But you;ll also get a whole other bunch of rotations for medical floors, surgical floors, pediatrics.... |
