This probably seems an unlikely place to pose this question, but what I'm about to ask will be part of my "nurse gear" in August.  I have a tattoo on the side of my neck.  It's not huge, but it is noticeable.  According to my school, we are not to have any visible tatts during clinical time.  They suggested using a bandage to cover it, but in my opinion that draws more attention and questions regarding what happened to my neck.  Does anyone know of any good make-up to cover tatts that isn't too expensive?  Thanks for the help!

I knew someone who used a cover stick, then covered it with bare mineral makup and topped it off with the bare minerals powder (can't recall its name right now) to seal it.  It seemed to work well because you would have to look hard to notice the extra makeup.

Thanks for the reply...Did it stay on pretty well?  I'm worried about it rubbing off on the white scrubs that we're required to wear

I remember it staying on for the 12 hour shift; but, we never wore white scrubs.  Don't think any makup will stay fully put against white.  Maybe some tegaderm over the makeup???  At least it is clear.
