Hi everyone! I am very glad that I have found this website online. I knew I wanted to start my journey in Nursing, but I didn't know where to start. I am going to start my CNA training in about a week. I am very excited to start. However I don't really know if my next step will be a LPN or a RN, I am hoping that being a CNA for some time will give me some insight to that question. Either way it is a great experience for me. If anyone can give me any advice with the CNA class and/or the job itself, please feel free to. I love to hear from other people.

Welcome! There are a number of people here who can give you their 2 cents on the matter of the LPN/RN choice. I can tell you the CNA class is not difficult, but the skills portion of the state certification can be a challenge. Just make sure you practice until it is second nature and don't be afraid to ask classmates to meet outside of class to test each other.

Some may snicker, but there were few in my RN basic nursing lab that would pass a CNA skills certification test. Honest.
