best of luck to you! Time management will be tricky for you, so just make sure you find time to study and not fall behind.

Take breaks too, though. Take the kids out to Sandbridge and pick up sand dollars. You might even see some dolphins swim by!

take care and God bless ...

peace

I cannot imagine.  I have kids and that will be hard enough.  Just make sure you manage your time.  You may have to study while the kids are asleep.  What are their ages?

A good man loves other. A better man loves God. A great man loves God and lives well among others! I miss you daddy!

Stay focused and stay on track and you'll be fine. There was an older woman in my class who had a job, married, and children. She balanced it all. I guess it depends on how much you really want it.

Good luck to you. We need lots of nurses!

Never fear!!!  I went to school previously with a mother of three kids (including a brand new baby). She was married but her husband was away overseas during her entire time in nursing school. She was an amazing student. She had a wonderful, can-do, attitude. It was tough but she was more tough. All it takes is knowing...yes, knowing!! that you will succeed. It is do-able. You can do it if you really want it!!! Best of luck to you and keep on treading through :)...

I have been in your shoes, as well.  I am also going back to school in a few weeks for my RN and I am feeling anxious.  I try to focus on the brighter side of things and put my mind on the more that I will be able to accomplish for myself and the kids.  I will have more money for them to do the things that they like and for the household as a whole.  If you have it in your mind that all will be well and that everyone will accomodate your needs as well as the children's, you will be fine.  Look for help and support from friends and family, you will be fine.  GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in the same boat except I have a husband but he works long hours 8:30AM-9PM. I have a 4yr old and 5 month old. I will be starting in Sept and I fear not having enough time for my kids as well as the class work.  I am trying to keep faith that all things are possible.  Stay focus it's a couple of years of hell that is well worth it.
