Posted almost 4 years ago A week or two ago I emailed KlWinsor, who has "Staff" under her profile photo, and works for Monster, the Nursing Link partent corporation. I received no response at all... here is my email to her: "I will try this one more time. Every day I delete 50 - 80 "notifications." I understand the original intent, but It is a waste to receive these things - I dont need to know which of my hundreds of friends have posted in the games. I emailed you before asking about this, and have posted this in a discussion - no response. Apparently there is no one on NL or in their parent corporation who cares to respond to my inquiries.... Too bad - I am a retired attorney with lots of time on my hands - hopeully someone can respond to me concerning this subject before I get really upset. Please let me know what is being done about this - I have heard from others who are similarly affected."
I also emailed the general email address for the site. No response. Apparently no one at the actual Nursing Link site gives a crap about what we, the users, think. I know there are glitches in computer sites, but at least HOW ABOUT A CIVIL ANSWER????? Hey , woild anyone like to file a suit?Let me know! We are wasting our time dealing with this garbage! Trust me, I'm an experienced lawyer, and can make a lawsuit out of anything. Our time is worth money, and that means damages based on their negligence. If they would only be decent enough to answer us, I wouldn't be so ticked off! All I ask is a simple explanation! |

| Posted almost 4 years ago They do not care. They are Monster. They only want you and your friends for your resumes. This site started out great. It is no longer about nursing. WHen was the last time you saw a discussion on here with any substance? |

| Posted almost 4 years ago I seldom come on here anymore. I feel a great loss as I once spent hours on here chatting with nurses and getting into the nursing discussions. I spent many hours putting together items for the library that I authored and that I found from other sources. There were many topics that were just great. Once, the staff would respond. Now, they could care less. |

Hey, can I sue for all of the hours and hours that I dedicated to this site and they profited from? How about for pain and suffering when I was snubbed by them? |

| Posted almost 4 years ago I solved this issue for myself by sending the emails to spam and now my spam filter sends all to spam. So I just check in when I have time and respond to the friends requests and so forth that actually are worth my time. I am not interested in who posted last in what forum. I do not have the time to devote to all those links. For the most part, I am on the site 1/10 of the time I spent on here before it became all about this quiz and that game. I have met some really nice and inspiring people on the site. I count cdnurse (Ginny) and CaptianEricRN as two of those friends worth all the spam the site has begun to dish out. Too bad the site has degenerated into its current state.

| Posted almost 4 years ago Thank you Vickie! In addition, NL logs me out at random - maybe four times a day - usually when i send an email, so it's lost (I copy everything in case i have to re-send). Others say this happens to them. So I'm like you - on here much less lately. When i take a quiz it sends notices to everyone even if i don't click on anything. I kind of like the silly games, but mixing them in with everything is inconvenient. Oh well, glad I met some good friends here - that's the only upside!

| Posted almost 4 years ago I'm with all of you. I dislike slogging through all the dreck to get to anything worth reading or responding to. I really am becoming annoyed with all the new games and senseless crap. I don't know who, other than a very select few, who has time to continually post new silly, meaningless crap to the forums. Wish those who had all this time would apply it to nursing topics rather than just stuff. |

| Posted almost 4 years ago I agree with you CD nurse. I may quit all together myself. School starts soon for me, so I won't have the time anyway! A good man loves other. A better man loves God. A great man loves God and lives well among others! I miss you daddy!

| Posted almost 4 years ago Clicking on the stop watching topic is helpful ONLY when you are under the Forum tab. The problem is on the opening page of NL and all of the crap like name that restaraunt, name that tv show is on there and the nursing topics are lost. I would like to see the breaktime just disappear. Again, this is no longer a nursing site. |
Thanks Vicke, it is a shame. Like I said, it is a great loss to me. It is no longer a nursing site.
