I work in a nursing home on the pm shift. When the change of shift comes the nurses on the am shift have 2 different computers on playing music which is really distracting. One has her computer from home sitting on the nurses station blaring out music and the other one is in a back room off the nurses station.  When I come in I have a certain organization I like to do count the narcs, set up the medex etc..It is so distracting for me as they sit and talk about stuff for an hour after the shift change.  They are so unorganized and leave the med carts a mess and never take full sharps containers down to the disposal room.  It just is so frustrating and makes me mad.
