Posted about 4 years ago on call for amedysis home health is it legal to have an hourly employee on call for 5 days at 15 dollars a day! i am a r.n. this is a joke i i am not part time i only work when i want too is this legal to mandate call? |

| Posted about 4 years ago i am an hourly employee i work 3 days a week my choice ,amedysis has said we all need to pull 5 days on call so like a week of life is lost, I cant see how this can be manditory for someone who works less than part time ? And for this they will pay us 15 dollars a day ? cant be legal to mandate this |

| Posted about 4 years ago Your employer should have been very clear on the requirements and expectations of your position when you were hired. They need to provide you with a copy of the policy that concerns call-time. If policy covers what they're asking you to do, they're covered. If policy does not support it, they really don't have a leg to stand on. You may need to update your resume. |
