| Posted 5 months ago My comment wasn't expressed at anyone in particular - just a friendly reminder, as we all know how politically-charged forums can get. Thank you for all being courteous to everyone despite differing opinions. |

| Posted 5 months ago Liberal, conservative, Republican or Democrat, it doesn't matter. The joke was wrong regardless of who said it or whom it was about. He should have had the good sense to refuse to do that joke if it wasn't his own idea, and the decency not to come up with with something like that if it was his idea. But with that being said I also believe the media were like sharks circling bleeding prey with this story. It never should have happened, but the way it was handled wasn't right, either. |

As John and Angie have stated, I don't see where anyone has gotten out of line on here.We are all just simply ventilating over how unfair the press is being to Palin and her daughters. Are we going to be squelched for having differing opinions? The reason why I enjoy this site , is I can come here to ventilate without fear of reprisals for what I believe. That's not always a possibilty at work. Last I checked, no-one was my immediate supervisor. I appreciate the need to monitor hot topics, but have seen no disrespect on this post. Claire Kruszka |

| Posted 4 months ago I agree, I haven't seen any disrespect either regarding this topic. There have been differences of opinion, but nobody has been rude. I think whenever there is a difference of opinion, somebody stands the chance of getting upset, but in this case it hasn't been from anyone attacking another person. I also like this sight and the fact that we can voice our opinion and it is just that, our opinion. :) |

Thanks T. I'm sure other nurses who have participated on this post will agree. I try not to be rude. I am passionate about what I believe, and can get fired up, but, if I ever think I have offended anyone here, I'm the first to apologize. Claire Kruszka |

| Posted 4 months ago Well, Im not surprised over that threat a few posts ago to shut down this thread. Personally I never meant an insult to anyone and if I hurt anyone's feelings, I do apologize. One thing I wont do is sacrifice my principles for popularity. Another thing I wont do is be in fear of reprisals for comments that I have made..................it was my right to make my comments thanks to our constitution guaranteeing our freedom of speech without fear of reprisals. We only have one heart, take care of it! Angie |

| Posted 4 months ago Right on Angie...no one should live in fear of expressing their opinions. Most of us know how to do that w/ out causing a ruckus. It's the few who don't or won't that screw it up for the rest of us!!!!!! I saw no malice in anything you said, but that's just my opinion... |
