We have all had bad days and good days but   "when is enough to much???"  Is it when the bad days out number the good days ... How do you not let the bad days overwhelm you ?? I have been an LPN a very long time and always wanted to be an RN but after all these yrs now im having 2nd thoughts?? Please share your thoughts :)

I say go for it.......... But I love being a LPN it's  the job that keeps on giving, exspecially when your residents ask you when are you working on our floor we LOVE YOU! I truely think LPN's are just as needed as RN's. I have great respect for the RN;s too. But sometimes I wish we got the same acknowledgement for the job that we do as well as the RN's..........Keep up the good work, and if your heart is really into goin back to be a RN ,I say go for it G/F

Go back to school. It will open so many more doors and allow you to work in areas where LPN's aren't usually utilized like PACU, ICU,Endoscopy, just to name a few.

Change specialties... I went from ER to telemetry to child psych to adult psych to long term care to Dept of Health regulator. Always something new you can do as an RN.
