Hey, I've never started a dicussion before so Im just going to put it out there.  I have this incredibly racist patient that I take care of. I get all types of ridiculous racial remarks thrown at me. Although it gets to me something terrible, it hasnt changed the type of care that I provide this patient with.  I guess the question is...how do you deal with difficult or racist patients and still provide quality care?

Thanks nursewah! I appreciate your input. Im definitely trying. I guess I'll just continue to pray about it and ignore those comments like I've been doing
