Hey has anyone heard that after you take the NCLEX you can log on the Pearson Vue and try to register again(no specific timeframe after). The trick is if it doesn't allow you to register for another test and gives you an error to call your state boards then you passed HOWEVER if it allows you to register to the point you have to put in your card info, you FAILED!!!!!!?????

Well I just tested today [all 265 questions] and I am really freaked out that I didn't pass... so I tried what you described!

It told me that a date had recently been scheduled and I had to check with my state board I think...but it popped up like an error message so I really hope that I passed. Since I live in CA I sould be able to check my results on Monday (2 business days) and find out how I did.

We'll see!

Yeah, I just learned that my state doesn't do the quick results...I am so pissed.

So I will have to keep checking if my name comes up with the search for a licese, very disappointing after spending so much money to take the darn test!!!

Thanks Michelle, and to everyone else...I am very pleased to announce that I passed NCLEX!

So that trick might be true, when you attempt to re-register with pearson vue, a message pops up telling you to check with your BRN since a test was recently scheduled. I tested on 6-25-09 and my results were online via the BRN license verification site by 6-30 in my state of CA.

Thanks "Pearlferret" for remembering about my boards tomorrow!

I'm a wreck...but all I could do is my best!!

The state of NY does results in 2 business days, but since I'm testing on a Thursday, July 2, and there is the holiday, I don't think my results will be in till Monday the 6th. Am I right?

Any last minute tips anyone????????

Congratulations to all who just recently PASSED! Way to go.

I was told in a seminar to help pass boards that the number of questions you get doesn't mean a pass or fail. I passed and had 190 questions. The computer gives you a series os questions in degree of difficulty. If you miss a hard question it automatically goes to an easy question, and builds in degree of difficulty from there. I must have missed a few hard questions, yet kept digging my way back by being able to answer the easy ones.Hence, the computer took awhile to grade me and I had 190 qustions as a result.

I've also heard of people having 75 qustions and failing. It means they got enough difficult and easy questions wrong quickly, so the computer shuts down after a certain percentage of missed questions.

Good luck, and congrtas to those who already passed.

HOORAY!!!!!!!! Just got my results from boards and I PASSED!!!!!!!! I had about 85 questions and when I left out of the building I felt like I had just had and outer body experience! I did try the trick that I posted and maybe it really is true that it works! So far everyone that has tried it and got the error to contact your board has passed!!

Thanks a lot. I'm taking the NCLEXRN Aug, 5th.  Great tip.  I took the NCLEXPN 2-07, and I'm mildly nervous (scaredtodeath) to face that "beast" again.  LOL.

You will all do fine. I was shocked when I passed. That was very hard. I'm hearing that lots of my friends from school are passing too...so I'm happy for them.  Good luck everyone.

I am from Louisiana also and it took my name a loooong time to pop up also and even longer for me for the results. I test on 06/24 and got my results on 07/03 and I had 85 questions. But one of my classmates tested on 06/17 and got her results on 06/22 and she had 96 questions. So your name isn't going to show until they feel you have had enough time to receive your results.

Hi everyone.  I am new to this site, but I just took the NCLEX-RN this morning in Savannah Georgia, and I can honestly say I feel like I failed.  I did pretty well in Nursing School, and studied for two months for the NCLEX.  I thought I was prepared for the test, and then I sat down and was blown away.  I honestly have no idea if I answered a single question right.  At 140 questions the computer shut off and now I am pulling my hair out wondering what I am going to do with the rest of my life if I failed this test.  I tried the Pearson Vue trick and it popped up with an error page.  I pray the trick works.  One day down two more to go! To all of those who have taken and passed the NCLEX CONGRATS!!! To all of those waiting to take the NCLEX, or waiting for results, best of luck.

Yes! Breathing is very important. I couldn't believe I had been sitting there for over 4 hours and felt light headed and totally drained. I thought the darn thing would never end & I finally got the feeling I was in it for the long haul after 200 questions. Boy I was so thirlled to find out that I passed, the greatest news of my life!

Skyraven, do they do the quick results out in GA? Best of luck to you hearing the happy news!!!

I'm just wondering if this really works since no one's verified whether they were able to re-register after not passing.

Yes Pearlferret Ga does the quick results for both NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN.  I will let you know if this trick works.  I should find out my results tomorrow by 3pm.  Thank you for the words of encouragement.  Best of luck to you too.

I am new at this but thanks for sharing your experiences, this helps to decrease anxiety level. I will take my NCLEX-RN next week on July 21 and I am kind of nervous. Congratulations too all you that passed your board exam. I will try the Pearson Vue trick after I took my exam. Please pray for me.
