Posted almost 4 years ago Is it my imagination or do some good groups get started and then just sort of flitter out. I noticed that there are several that have been started and only had one or two responses and then nothing for months. I know several nurses and students have written that they use this link for info and social but I think we all are guilty of being more interested in the games that the knowledge that can be gained. I know that at times I sure go for the games before the educating notes and articles. Just my opinion. |

| Posted almost 4 years ago Nope, it is not your imagination. I have started various groups many times, get a couple of responses, and then it dies out. The games have definitely taken over the site... |

It seems to be about supply and demand. The games are more popular because people want to play them. They're a great way to learn more about the people on here and are conducive in building relationships. I used to play them alot, but haven't for a long time. I met some good friends while doing so. I also utilize ALL the other information on here to enhance my education and knowledge. For me, life is a balance; which includes playing. There seems to be those that try to shame other people into submission. The truth is, you are no less serious about nursing if your use of this site includes playing games. I find being balanced a very healthy state to be in. The games have actually been therapeutic for me at times. Live life while you can. We only have this one opportunity to live it. Remember; Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans (John Lennon). Scott (SEAG) |

| Posted almost 4 years ago Don't you get it guys, lots of members here love playing games, just because its a way of detoxicating from all days work! Why are you all so serious, and keeps on pointing at games as the culprit. It is as clear as the sky, more people in here log in because they want to relax and have some fun, and there we are wanting to kill the most important "ingredients" of Nursing Link?! It's their choice and you can't push them to do what you like, making them appear that it is less to be a nurse when they want to play games?! Come on, your opinion/ choice is not the only thing that matters here?! To each his own, okay?! Let's just enjoy each other's company, anyway nursing is not only based on" nursing" itself but also based on the fact that nurses are "humans", has a mind of their own, and we need to respect that. |

| Posted almost 4 years ago It is true that the groups fade out some faster than others. But as a member of a particular group you can keep posting and get some responses. People use this site for many different reasons, and some like to play the games, its a destressor for many. I dont like them but that is my personal preference. |
