Posted over 5 years ago To some it is, I didnt struggle with the class but it wasnt easy getting a B. Some of the systems where easy to understand some where not, i found the skeletal system , and endorine system difficult. Dont be scared the key is reading and understanding. My problem was i sometimes waited to the last minute to read the stuff, and then during the exam i would start confusing thing.

Posted over 5 years ago I think it can be hard, you just have to apply yourself. It is not one of those courses that you can study one or two nights before and expect to get a good grade. ( At least not for me). There is so much info that I found it easy to break down my studying in a small portions, and having extra material might help also. For example the text that we used was very difficult and the diagrams were a bit too detailed. It helped when I would research the topics on line and got a general gist of the body system and then went back to what my text explains. Hope this helps - and Good luck!!!

| Posted over 5 years ago I am finishing up A&P II and have a 98 average. I had a 98 average in A&P I. If you study some every night (10-30 minutes) you should do fine. I think a lot depends on the teacher, how well you take tests, and how interested you are in the subject. Good luck! Remember-little part-BIG name

Posted over 5 years ago At my school we have FOUR A&P courses.. insane huh? Could be done in 3 really, but they made it into 4. Each one got more complex, but I did not find it that bad... Study a bit each day and you will keep up.

Posted over 5 years ago a&p can be difficult Break it down put it on 3x5 cards and if your school will let you take digital pictures of the models you use in class. Make plain paper prints on your computer and label one set and leave the other blank to quiz yourseslf on. This helped so much for me. I was then able to study some each night besides in lab class. I would also write the physiology on the prints so I could review it all the time. If possible use a recorder to tape lecture class. Then write out the lecture. This helps prepare you for questions to the professor if you did not understand something. I also made a tape of the vocabulary or of the digestive process with its enzymes and all. I coulld play this while driving to school, washing dishes, folding laundry, or by using head phones listen to it while my family watched TV or especially as I relaxed to go to sleep. You be surprised what you remember from listening just before you go to sleep. Plus by using the tapes during housework two things got done. -

Posted over 5 years ago For me the difficult part was the memorization. I despise having to memorize. These are all great suggestions so definitely use them and come up with your own system. And this is a no duh statement, but the sooner the better! I had the tendency to get lulled into the first 2 weeks and realize I was WAY behind!!! (can you tell I am a procrastinator?). Good luck!
