Oh how boring the forest would be if all the birds sang the same tune.  I love that saying.  I enjoy all kinds of music.  My fav is Light Jazz. I also like The Blues.  Stevie Ray, BB king, the cry of the ol electric guitar.  Love it.  Any artist that sings deep from their soul is always a treat.  I cry when I listen to a great performer.  I feel their music.  I love to watch  those talent shows and cheer for those incredible kids that can belt out a song with the showmenship of a professional and than just stand there like it was nothing.  they are so cute.  America's got talent has had a few of those kids.  I wish I could sing half as good.  I like to crank up my stereo in my truck and sing my heart out.  But that's as far as my singing goes.  The animals in the forest all run for the hills when they hear me singing.  Other artist I like are cheryl crow, Wynonna, Alyisa Keys, Travis Tripp, Beounce', Garth Brooks, Kidd Rock, Trisha Yearwood, Oh, there are so many.  I like just about everything.  Life without music is like life without air.  ROCK ON!  PARTY HARDY, DANCE YOUR BUTT OFF.

Im young but have an old soul. So I love a lot of oldies from the temptations, jackson 5, ojays etc. Some of the groups I love from the 90's would be BBD, boys 2 men, xscape etc. There are no favorite groups out now. But my favorite artists are John Mayer, Jill Scott and Jamie Foxx and the list goes on. Music is definitely my release and my stress reliever. Whenever Im down I can listen to some tunes and pick my spirits up. People can see me singing in my car as they drive past when 1 of my favorite artist is playing

I absolutely LOVE George Michael to pieces!!!  I have been an admirer since I was 12, I am now 38 and my love affair with him has stood the test of time.  I am absolutely 100% fiathful to his music.  The man could remix Row Row Row Your Boat and I would be first in line to buy it, and quite possibly at this point in the game I could be the ONLY one in line!  :o)  I have seen him in concert twice, which is not nearly enough, but both times I was brought to tears.  I received flack for spending $300.00 on tickets, but it was worth every penny and I would happily spend twice that amount!  I do like other types of music, ie. rab/hip hop/r&b, and I am an enormous fan of the 80's genre.  I love alot of the one hit wonders of the 80's decade that have been forgotten about.  However,  George and I go WAAAAY back.

As a Texas girl (born and bred) I gotta say that I LOVE Pat Greene. It was so awesome watching him perform at small bars and clubs growing up and then making it to the big time!

It is so hard to actually say that one group or artist is my favorite because I have so many. As I think back; there is one band that always pops into my head. Their music (among many) has made a lasting impression in my heart, mind and soul; and they are...........The Ozark Mountain Daredevils. This really dates me; but for anyone that has never heard of them, the song that probably did the best on the pop charts was "Jackie Blue." Though "Jackie Blue" was a good song, they had so many others that I considered "great" songs. One entire album; "Men From Earth", was filled with nothing but great songs. They were at the peak of their songwriting careers in the 1970's.

My favorite band of all times are the Eagles.  Favorite artist is Don Henley.  His song "Heart of the Matter" says it all for me.  I also have become a big Adam Lambert fan since watching American Idol this year and can't wait for his CD to come out this fall.  He got a bum deal on Idol this year and I think it was all about his life orientation.  Who cares, Elton, and many others are gay.......WHO CARES, the music is mind boggling!!!!!.

hello everyone, I really dont listen to music all the time. Well i have my alarm to wake up from Marvin Sapps Cd. To me that is very inspirational. It gets me going and one of the Songs ushers me into prayer and mediation. I like gospel. I will listen to R&B. Soft rock is not bad, this is what is played on the radio at work. Sometimes i tend to zone out the tune. If it is a song that i like, I will do the two step or some crazy dance.  that is my story and i am sticking to it . ha ha ha

OMG, he is absolutely AMAZING in concert.  I can't even begin to explain it.  If you visit my page here on NL, I have pics from his most recent concert, "25 Live" (from July, 2008) posted.  You should check them out, they're awesome!

I guess I can say that I like all kinds of music.   Or almost all, with the exception of pop maybe.  I always have my radio/cd playing, when I am either doing homework or housework.   I usually listen to Soft Jazz station.

Can someone suggest a few good romantic CDs?  Thanks.

I am a huge fan of Def Leppard and Journey.  If I had to pick favorite artist I'd go with Michael Buble, Elton John and Billy Joel.

I trully enjoy all music, I can't narrow it down to one genre.  If it has a beat, I'll listen to it.  =)

I have been a culture reggae fan since I was 14!!!  Bob Marley being #1 favorite!  I also like a wide variety of other music.  Colplay, Gavin Rossdale, Rascal Flatts, Katie Perry, Marc Anthony.. and so many more that I cannot remember them.  My favorite place to listen to my music is in my car with the stereo drowning out all those people honking their horns!!

At this current time: Brad Paisley!  My tastes in music have changed throughout my life...I grew up on country music and hated it!  Once I got out of my parents' home, I started listening to pop and disco (that tells my age, doesn't it???).  I'm a Christian, and love Christian music, and for years contemporary Christian was the only music I listened to.  A few years ago, I came full circle BACK to country music, and have found that I really like the "new" country music...and with moving to Nashville last year, I get plenty of opportunities to hear good country music!  I've seen Brad perform live 3 times since moving here! (Grand Ole Opry, CMA Music Fest concert, and CMT Music Awards)

I  love music, it's like part of my soul. My favorite artists are numerous and correspond with my emotions at the time. I am a Christian but I listen to whatever artist who makes me energetic, contemplative, depressed, happy, spiritual and I can relate to. I love Pink because she reminds me of my daughter who acted and thought like her. My daughter died in 2002 at the age of 26. I love Sarah Mclachlan, Enya, Natalie Merchant, Sheryl Crow and Cindy Lauper. I like Bruce Springstein, Bob Seeger, Bob Dillon, Michael Smith, Dixie Chicks,Taylor Swift, Judy Collins. I was never a fan of the Beatles, I like the Rolling Stones better, I like David Bowie and Rod Stewart. I don't like hard metal, jazz or rap. I can't understand the lyrics and it does not create an emotion except irritability. I like relevant lyrics and some type of a melody.

This is from my iPhone

Body count's in the house

Now Sports

Smoked Pork

KKK Bitch

Momma's Gonna Die Tonight

etc.

The Album Murder for Hire was not up to the original killer speed metal of the original... I especially like the referece to Tipper Gore's 12 year old neices.

This album is the application of the first ammendment to the contitution writ large.

I am a huge metal fan... and the lyrics of the original CD... WITH the subsequesntly banned track Cop Killer is among the best speed metal/heavy metal extant.

Nice try.

Love oldies and classic rock. I also like some R & B, depends on the artist/group. My favorite R & B group is called "Tower of Power." I also LOVE LOVE big band jazz. I also recently have been listening to the country station on the radio.

When you grow up in a house where both your father and older brother are professional musicians, you wind up with very weird and eclectic tastes in music.
