Posted 4 months ago Today, the 4th of July, is the day that we honor our country. I think this law, is one of the best on the books. The Stolen Valor Act, makes it illegal to claim any of the following unauthorized wear, manufacture, sale or claim (either written or verbal) of any military decorations and medals. It is a federal misdemeanor offense, which carries a punishment of imprisonment for not more than 1 year and/or a fine This includes even the following;
This law was signed into effect in 2006 by President Geoge Bush.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stolen_Valor_Act_of_2005 My extensive military knowledge is not limited to just being in line at the commissary, I also have extensive military knowledge of the 'Class Six'. |

I had been planning on the yardsale I've been postponing for 3 years, and was going to put my husband uniforms out there...............it'll be deer season in the fall, fatiues and camaflage sells great. My husband said 'make sure you take off all nametags and insignia'...........I see why now. I thought he was just being picky and upset because Im selling his granmothers rotten dining room set. We only have one heart, take care of it! Angie |
