| Posted almost 3 years ago FELLOW COLLECTORS, I LIKE TO COLLECT RARE COINS...MAINLY SILVER...I CAN'T AFFORD GOLD OR PLATINUM...SMILE. ALSO, I COLLECT FDCs. FDCs ARE 'FIRST DAY COVERS'...AN ENVELOP STAMPED WITH A STAMP ON THE DAY IT WAS ISSUED. THE CHOICE FDCs ARE THOSE THAT HAVE NO WRITING ON THE ENVELOP AND HAVE A STAMP THAT IS MOST SOUGHT AFTER. ASIDE FROM THIS, I SEEM TO COLLECT GREETING CARDS TO SEND TO PERSONS I KNOW. I USUALLY KEEP 300+ CARDS AVAILABLE TO SEND TO VARIOUS FRIENDS. I HAVE A STAMP COLLECTION, BUT THESE MINT STAMPS FROM THE LATE 1880'S AREN'T USED TO SEND A GREETING TO A FRIEND. THAT WOULD BE TOO COSTLY. HAVE FUN WITH YOUR COLLECTING. | Posted almost 3 years ago They are great thing to collect. Fun to find stores that have stuff and even better to go to Renaissance feastivals on pirate days to see people dressed up. One of these days we'll dress up for pirate days too. ARRRRR |
