Posted almost 4 years ago Just wondering if anyone is watching the new show called "Hawthorne" with Jada Pickett Smith, (Will Smith's wife). What do you think about it? So far I like it. I especially like the new young nurse, Kelly. Poor thing is always crying. LOL Give your thoughts if you watch................... |

| Posted almost 4 years ago This is my favorite show. I have watched every episode from the beginning. Jada and the other co stars do an excellent job in this series. I waited for about a month in anticipation for this series. It is better than i even expected. I hope when i become a nurse i will be just as or even more strong, caring and intelligent than Christina Hawthorne. | Posted almost 4 years ago I have really enjoyed the show thus far, and it has inspired me to keep going in my nursing education. I just wonder...how realistic is it? I mean, even if it isn't realistic, I still enjoy it. But I still wonder. |

| Posted almost 3 years ago Didn't want to bust a show without watching a couple of episodes first. Not much else on at 0100 so I gave it a watch. I'm not a fan of Jada for starters & her character is not very likeable. I heard "Well, I'm Christina Hawthorne..." too many times. The scripts are written to give Jada the most "Oh, yeah?" moments to purse her lips and "buck the system". The medical scenes are hilarious, though! Their technical advisor must not be present very much, or they're an imbecile. Seriously, if you like ripping medical shows for their utter lack of authenticity or accuracy, this is for you. Ending an infant resuscitation within 30 seconds of initiation, the "doctor" calling for 3 rounds of epi within seconds of each other without a route to give it? And the lone male nurse on the show is a complete doofus who is never doing anything but staring stupidly at the blonde female. Priceless. |
