Posted over 5 years ago Here is a new one folks! I read the forum everyday and I am so amazed with all the acronyms and Abbrev. such as ADON, DON, LTC, CBC, RN, LPN, CNA, GYN, (the list goes on and on and on...!!!)

| Posted over 5 years ago ladypettigrew: ask questions! that is a good start. Do not feel bad with all of the acronyms. there are many I run into and do not know. Just when you think you have learned em all, here they come with more. Now I am learning all of the jail lingo and their codes that are nothing what the hospital had. Example: in the hospital code Red or Dr Red is a fire. In the jail Code Red is referring to inmates fighting. |
