Hey anyone out there. I'm interested in getting my RN associates, specialty Labor and Delivery. I'm a busy mom, and I would like some thoughts on what would be best to obtain my goal, either in the classroom or online courses, and getting a grant of some sort as well! Hope some of you have some advice for me. I would appreciate it. Thanks again

Start looking at what programs are available in your area. There are lots of different ways to go about getting your RN license. For example, do you already have a Bachelor's degree? Many universities are offering a "Bachelor's to RN" program that is VERY condensed to the tune of about 18 months. If not, many ADN programs have waiting lists and/or prerequisite classes which will help you decide what path is the best for you. Start with each schools website then start calling them. And be aggressive in getting your information! That alone weeds out quite a few potential nurses!

Thank you for your time, I appreciate it. Every little bit helps me out alot, I'm looking to get a full grant as well, with what ever school I go with. Every program I do look at offers grants and scholarships, so it looks promising. Thanks again.
