Taking the NCLEX-PN Friday 7/24!

Posted almost 4 years ago So I have been doing LOTS of practice tests and going through the Kaplan's book to ready myself for the test. I have been seriously nervous and reading some of the posts on this forum has made me feel a little better. I just thought I would post something and let anyone who wishes to lend some helpful advice about preparing for this Friday. Even advice while taking the test. Anything that you'd like to say! I just want to pass so bad and I really hope I can do it. I figured taking as many nlcex style practice tests as possilbe will really help me get into that "mode" and hopefully increase my chances of choosing the best answers on the real thing. Anyway, thanks in advance! -To be LPN........hopefully after this Friday :D |

| Posted almost 4 years ago You will do well on the NCLEX. I took the exam on Friday, the 17th and I passed! I just knew I had failed because I got all 265 questions and that made me really nervous. I studied everything I could get my hands on from textbooks, flash cards, nursing magazines, NCLEX books, online quizzes on this site, etc... I was a total reck and I passed so I am sure you will do fine. |

| Posted almost 4 years ago I took mine today 7/24 also and it shut off at 85! I am so nervous!! it will be a long weekend.......thank goodness in FL we can "buy" our result after 2 days (not including sat/sun). I have to wait until Wednesday!! Well keep you posted when i know! Let me know how you did too mrstucker!! What state are you in?? |

| Posted almost 4 years ago Im in Oregon. I just took the test and it shut off at 85! I am soo freaked out right now. I feel like I failed. I guess we will see. |

| Posted almost 4 years ago If it shut you off at 85 you did it...you passed......They say the earlier the comp shuts you off you have answered enough right questions for you to pass....i got shut off at 85 and passed!!!! |

| Posted almost 4 years ago YES YES YES! I did PASS!!! WooHoo! The trick is true! It must be! omg I felt like poo walking out of that test. I am soooo excited! Thanks for everyone's optimism. |
..........you will do fine, and the date 7/24, get used to that number cause after you get through this test you will be a nurse 24/7 lol
